About the piece:
" N-8 and C-5 are members of The Last Colony. They are collecting scrap metal to take it back to their tribe. In the village, it will be classified, processed and then turned into batteries for their power-units. Before humans went missing, centuries ago, they made sure they left enough of raw material behind so the colony survival is guaranteed for the next couple of eons. They were that kind. The Last Colony often wonders where did their makers go, and if they will ever come back."

"El Rey Chamán"
Coloured pencils over kraft paper.
For Light Grey Art Lab Gallery show "Botanica"
2016
About the piece:
The Peyote Cactus has a history of traditional use amongst Native American tribes as a shamanic teacher plant that can give visions of an alternate reality or the spirit world. It has been used by indigenous tribes, shamans and medicine men for the psychedelic effects when ingested, to communicate with the spirit world and as a medicine.
Peyote’s known history dates back to pre-Columbian times; possibly as early as 300 B.C. This is a part of traditional rituals and ceremony. Peyote is said to initiate a mental state that allows users to feel closer to their ancestors and the Universe/All That Is/God.
